Launched in 2012, Job Tasting Programme aims to give students hands-on experience and a chance to explore their vocational choices. It simulates every step in job search, from initial job searching, writing resume and job application letter to interviews. More than 160 openings were offered by the Group’s companies, while Project WeCan partners also offered more than 70 openings in total. Students worked for two to four weeks in the period of 18th July to 26th August. During the internship, supervisors were assigned to students providing support and coaching. At the end an evaluation was made to facilitate personal development.
As the summer holidays ended, the annual “Job Tasting Programme” was also completed. This year, 178 students joined the programme in 26 different companies and organisations from 18 July to 26 August. The Programme aimed to give students hands-on experience and a chance to explore their vocational choices. During the internship, supervisors were assigned to students providing support and coaching. At the end an evaluation was made to facilitate personal development.
