Two Career Exploration Days in 2016/17 were successfully held on 26 November 2016 and 24 June 2017. With the support of 23 corporations and organisations, over 4,500 students from 51 secondary schools participated in over 60 job tasters, mock interviews, workshops, talks and other career planning activities to gain career insight and inspiration.

The Career Exploration Day provided students an opportunity to taste the job roles and understand the entry requirements for different industries, including property, logistics, social services, beauty, hospitality, education, media, information technology, art, nursing, architecture, food and beverage, disciplined services, administration, aviation and motor.

New features such as Career Interest Games, University students sharing booth and job tasters for teachers have been added to the programme this year to help students better understand themselves and explore different career pathways, as well as to support the schools in implementing sustainable life-planning projects.
