GigaSports is offering free Youth Training Programme for our Project WeCan Schools and a chance for them to participate in their GigaSports 10K Race once again this year, with an aim to promote the fun of sports and build up students’ self-confidence.  The 10K Race will be held on 24 November (Sunday) and is now open for recruitment.  Aside from free training sessions and the chance to join the Race, students who reach the attendance rate of 80% will receive sportswear sponsored by GigaSports!

Date: 28 September  to 16 November, 2019 (every Saturday) [Total 8 Sessions]
Time: 8:30 am to 10:00 am
Venue: Sha Tin Sports Ground**
Target: Students of  Project WeCan Schools (16 years old or above who are enthusiastic in sports, with long-distance running experience needed)

** The 6th training session (2 November)  may be held at Kowloon Bay Sports Ground.
**The last training session (16 November ) will be held at the venue of the 10K Race – Hong Kong Science Park High School Conference Center.

^ Would the responsible teacher please pass the completed student registration form to the person in charge of the event and follow up the entire training process. If the teacher or classmate is unable to attend a certain training , please inform WeCan Secretariat in early advance.

Students who have completed all training sessions and reached up to an attendance rate of 80% will be awarded a certificate. To enroll, please download the forms here and complete Registration Form and Teacher Contact Form on or before July 11 (Thursday) and email to info@projectwecan.org. Subject to limited quotas provided, each school can nominate about 5 students maximum.  If there are overwhelming responses, Gigasports reserves the right to decide the participated school list. The Secretariat will contact the schools who successfully registered before mid-August.
