Attracted around 220 students, partners from different industries held three webinars in April and May 2021 to provide opportunities for students to explore the nature of different professions, and plan for their career.

1. The Journeys of a Hong Kong Photographer: Taking the Perfect Photo from Inner Mongolia to Kenya by Royal Geographical Society – Hong Kong

Mr Anthony Lau, National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year (2016) and speaker of the webinar did not only share stories and adventures of his journeys, he also shared some techniques in capturing compelling photographs.  The students were fascinated by the encounters of a Hong Kong photographer.

2. Reimagining Financial Services in light of Digital by Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited

Mr Vidal Chan, Head of Digital Onboarding & Platform Experience, Digital Banking introduced the banking customer journey in the digital era as well as the concepts of big data analytics and ‘Martech’ (marketing technology) to around 100 students from ten WeCan schools.  The webinar was able to raise students’ interest in the banking industry.

3. Journeys to Becoming an International Rugby Player by Hong Kong Scottish Rugby Football Club

Arranged by KPMG, Mr Conor Hartley, International Rugby Star and Mr Craig Hammond, Head Coach of Hong Kong Scottish Rugby Football Club were invited to talk about the journeys to becoming an international rugby player.  They shared the requirements and responsibilities for being a professional athlete and a coach.  Their stories gave much inspirations to students.
