A New Adventure and Fruitful Experience
Project WeCan’s Young Innovators Bazaar has moved online in 2021 due to the pandemic.  With the support of TVB, our partner, students from 54 participating schools could get a taste of running their online shops on big big shop from 2 July to 31 July 2021.

Officiated by Mr Stephen Ng, Committee Chairman, Project WeCan Foundation and Mr Nick Tang, CEO, Wang On Properties Limited, the hybrid Kick-off Ceremony announced the “Grand Opening” of the online shops operated by the 54 participating schools!

Learning New Skills with the Support of WeCan Partners
It was not easy to run an online shop.  A series of workshops and training sessions were provided to students in March and April 2021 to equip them with the basic knowledge of doing business online.  We are thankful to our partners and guest speakers for sharing their experience and expertise in running an online shop.  The workshops covered topics such as virtual selling techniques, e-commerce, copyright issues, online shop design, barcode generation, product shooting and banner ad design.  Students and teachers found the workshops and training sessions informative, useful and inspiring.

Making Oral Presentation for the Business Plan
This year, students were required to present their business plan to the panel judges via Zoom in the first round of oral presentation.  Students could polish their business plans with the feedback and advice received from the corporate volunteers.  The five finalists were invited to give face-to-face presentation in the final round.

Awards to Recognize Students’ Achievements and Efforts
Winners of the “Best Oral Presentation Award” and “Best Product Award” were announced at the Kick-off Ceremony.  The results of other awards will be announced later.  Please stay tuned!
