Star Anise continues its English Buddy Programme with Hong Kong Teachers’ Association Lee Heng Kwei Secondary School, offering support to S4 students in their English learning throughout the school year.  These sessions commenced in December 2023, taking place both online and offline every two months.

To put English communication skills in a practical setting, volunteers of Star Anise conducted a job interview workshop for the students on 3 May 2024.  The students were provided with a sample CV to work on individually and had the opportunity to participate in a mock job interview during the session.  Students of varying levels of English proficiency were encouraged to actively use the language.  A big thank you to volunteers of Star Anise for motivating the students continuously in learning English!
