Project WeCan and South China Morning Post (SCMP) collaborated once again to launch the English! WeCan Programme, enhancing students’ comprehensive English skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.  Over 500 students from 69 schools participated in the spring and summer programmes, acquiring practical language skills through real-world applications.

The programme offered three specialised courses: Communication Essentials, English for Well-being and Balance, and Practical Skills for DSE Excellence.  Through interactive learning and everyday scenarios, students applied their English skills in meaningful contexts, boosting their proficiency and confidence in using the language.

Through various presentation formats in the final lesson, students demonstrated their progress for enhanced confidence and motivation in learning the English language, confirming that the programme has laid a solid language foundation and paved the way for future academic success.
