Swiss Airline organised a company visit for students from its partner school TWGHs Wong Fung Ling College to the LSG Sky Chefs on 6 April 2017. Students were given a guided tour to experience the process of making in-flight meals and were invited to sample one. They were much fascinated by the catering facilities and the behind-the-scenes work that goes into meal preparation. From food reception, storage, menu design, food preparation, tray setting to dispatch and washing-up, this visit enriched students’ knowledge on catering operations and the importance of food hygiene.
