With the increasing interest in STEAM education among schools, Project WeCan and the Academy for Bright Future Young Engineers of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) have co-organized a joint-school STEAM project spanning over six months.  In this project, secondary school students have a chance to work with students from other schools by forming joint-school teams.  Under the guidance of HKUST students majoring in Engineering, the teams would identify social issues, prepare a proposal, acquire technical skills in training workshops, produce a prototype, before they compete with other teams and showcase their prototypes at a finale to be held on 6 – 7 July 2018 at Plaza Hollywood.  A total of 24 WeCan schools and 4 non WeCan schools have joined the project, forming 17 teams.

WeCan x HKUST STEAM Project Finale:

Date: 6 – 7 July 2018 (Fri to Sat)
