For the first year being Project WeCan partner, Wai Yuen Tong generously offered a company visit opportunity to our students. On 8 November 2018, students from Cotton Spinners Association Secondary School and CCC Kei Heep Secondary School paid a visit to Wai Yuen Tong’s GMP factory which is one-of-its kind in Hong Kong having both Traditional Chinese medicine and western pharmaceutical production lines. Students learnt about the history of the well-recognized household brands Wai Yuen Tong and Madame Pearl’s, the implementation of stringent quality control, and the factory premises which is in compliance with GMP and PIC/S international standards, and equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory.
