Project WeCan Adventure Programme 2025/26
In 2025/26, Project WeCan arranged for over 150 secondary students to participate in a 3 day-2 night adventure programme offered by Outward Bound Hong Kong. Rolled out in batches across January, April and July, the programme was designed to push participants beyond their perceived limits and equip them with essential life skills for the future.
Students tackled various challenges on hiking trails and through water sports. Under the guidance of professional Outward Bound coaches, students learned to be self-reliant while taking responsibility for their teams. They stepped up to take on various tasks, which included preparing their own meals, packing their belongings and cleaning all equipment used during the camp.
During the sharing session, most participants expressed that speaking in small groups with students from other schools and foreign instructors boosted their communication skills and confidence. Many also treasured the practical survival skills acquired and the courage to overcome difficulties, which encouraged them to step outside their comfort zone. All these breakthroughs serve as significant milestones in the students’ personal growth, empowering them to face future hurdles with confidence.
