According to John Holland’s Theory of Career Choice, career interests can be divided into 6 types, as well as the job natures and working environment – Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising and Conventional. If your personality, ability, strengths, knowledge and skills match with your job, you would be able to work efficiently and find it more enjoyable.

By completing the Career Interests Assessment, you may realize that most people may have two or three career interest types. As well, various features in the job nature and working environment of a job position. Therefore, it is likely that we are suitable for working in more than one specific industry. Remember not to limit yourself in career choices and personal growth at an early stage.

Through career exploration activities, you would be able to identify your Value, Attitude, Skills and Knowledge. Learning about your VASK facilitates self-understanding in personality and preferences, which leads to the career path best suited for you.
