Partners' Appreciation cum Sharing Session 2026

On 12 May, representatives from WeCan partners, WeCan mentors and School Principals came together for our Partners' Appreciation cum Sharing Session.  It was a heartfelt celebration of a 15-year journey that began in 2011 with just 11 partners and 11 schools, and has since grown to 81 secondary schools supported by around 70 partners, benefitting over 107,000 students.

Mr Stephen Ng, Committee Chairman of the Project WeCan Foundation, expressed his gratitude to WeCan partners and mentors, noting that they have enabled our students to broaden their horizons and build self-confidence with their professional expertise, care and diverse social networks.  The session also featured inspiring sharing from partner representatives.  Ms Elin Wong from Modern Terminals Limited and Ms Victoria Li from CBRE Advisory Hong Kong Limited walked us through their successful school partnerships and the impact of the Job Tasting Programme, giving real‑life examples of how corporate engagement opens doors for students.

We also invited Principal Man Ho Wai from TWGHs Kwok Yat Wai College and Principal Wong Pui Chi from Chiu Chow Association Secondary School to share how business-school collaboration supports career planning, and how the business sector can help schools navigate new challenges, from demographic shifts to the rapid rise of AI.  As we look ahead, our focus is clear: pooling wisdom to address new challenges, equipping students for an AI-driven future, and creating more encouraging Hong Kong success stories together.
