On 10 October 2025, Mr Ricky Wong, Committee Member of Project WeCan Foundation, was invited to Tsang Pik Shan (Sung Lan) Secondary School to share his life journey with over 200 students.  Mr Wong candidly spoke about his struggles as an overseas student and the valuable lesson learned upon returning to Hong Kong as a management trainee: it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.  He also shared his insights from recent involvement in public services, emphasising the importance of giving back to the community.

In a chit-chat session with an S4 student, Mr Wong highlighted two keys to success.  First, learn to break ambitious dreams into small, achievable goals. Each accomplishment becomes motivation for the next step.  Second, building a network and leveraging teamwork makes overcoming challenges far more effective than working alone.  Finding the right people and approaching them in the right way can also lead to unexpected rewards.

Mr Wong concluded by encouraging students to find the stage that suits them best, as he believes everyone can shine, as long as they are in the right place.
