OCBC Bank (Hong Kong) Limited invited students from its partner school, Po Leung Kuk Yao Ling Sun College, to participate in two volunteer activities, with the aim of fostering a sustainable lifestyle through service while enhancing their personal skills.

On 28 August 2025, eight S5 students took part in OCBC Group Sustainability Day, where they explained the concept of waste reduction at source at a stall and assisted with its operation.  This allowed them to practise communication skills and strengthen teamwork, adaptability and event management abilities.  On 24 and 25 January 2026, 10 S3 and S5 students served as volunteers at Ocean Park's Conservation Day.  Through interactive games and educational panels, they introduced the threats facing endangered marine species and the conservation methods available.  In doing so, they not only learnt about the impact of human activities on marine ecosystems but also improved their explanatory skills through interactions with strangers. Through these two activities, students deepened their understanding of environmental issues through hands-on participation, received positive feedback from event attendees, and consequently boosted their self‑confidence.
