To promote professional development and exchange among teachers of WeCan schools, a series of five Teachers’ Development Days took place between March and April 2024. Returning to a fully physical format this year, teachers and principals from WeCan schools participated in over 200 sessions consisting of talks and workshops over the five days. The morning sessions focused on teaching and school administration, while the afternoon sessions featured guest speakers from various fields who shared insights on lifestyle topics, health and stress relief.

To explore the application of business experience in school management and operations, and to gain insights from business employers on nurturing students to meet society’s expectations when they graduate, business leaders from WeCan Partners were invited as special guests to engage in discussions with school principals. We extend our gratitude to Mr Ricky Wong, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Wheelock Properties Limited, Mr Peter Yuen, Managing Director and Head of Investment & Sales, Savills (Hong Kong) Limited, Mr Francis Li, Chairman of the APAC Capital Markets Board, Greater China, Cushman & Wakefield, and Mr Nick Tang, Executive Director and CEO, Wang On Properties for joining the Teachers’ Development Days to share their wisdom and experience with the attending teachers and principals.
