Lawyers from Standard Chartered Bank and Slaughter and May co-organised a legal workshop at the Standard Chartered Bank Building on 2 September 2024 for about 30 students from Lok Sin Tong Leung Kau Kui College.  The participating lawyers shared with students valuable tips on preparing for the HKDSE and studying in the university, as well as their experiences in overcoming challenges in both their work and studies through a fireside chat and small group discussions.  Towards the end of the workshop, students went on an office tour to experience first hand the working environment and corporate culture of a banking corporation, further enhancing their exposure to the business world.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the lawyers from both organisations.  Their contributions not only deepened the students’ comprehension of the legal profession but also inspired them to embrace new opportunities and contemplate various career paths, motivating them to pursue higher education and set ambitious goals for their future endeavours.
