Shun Tak Group arranged educational tours outside Hong Kong for their partner school, Lingnan Secondary School visits to Macau on 9 August and 12 November 2024.  Students taking the subjects Tourism and Hospitality Studies or Chinese History had the valuable opportunity to participate in the tours to explore the tourism culture of Macau.

On 9 August 2024, students gained first-hand insights into Macau’s diverse tourism landscape.  They experienced the TurboJET ferry service, explored the multifaceted offerings of the Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre, which included meeting and conference facilities, retail outlets, and adventure tourism activities.  They also learned about hotel operations through a visit to Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau and immersed themselves in Macau’s cultural heritage during a scenic Macau Cruise tour.

On 12 November 2024, Shun Tak Group invited students to visit the “Heritage across Cities, Prosperity in Bloom — 2024 Beijing-Macao Photography Exhibition” held at the Macau Tower.  Through the artwork displayed, students learned about the history and development of both Beijing and Macau.

The unique opportunities helped the students learn more about tourism and sparked their curiosity about Macau’s diverse culture, and undoubtedly inspired the students’ interest in careers related to tourism.
