Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No. 3 Secondary School (YY3) have entered their ninth year of partnership, with the 2024/25 collaboration significantly supporting YY3 students in academic planning.

Undergraduate Programme Compass & HKDSE Preparation Classes

Four HKUST undergraduates shared their university experiences with 88 YY3 S6 students on 2 December 2024, boosting their confidence for JUPAS selection.  Additionally, throughout January 2025, HKUST student volunteers conducted Saturday tutorial classes in mathematics and science subjects, providing tailored HKDSE preparation.

HKDSE Subject Selection Workshops

From February to March 2025, 13 HKUST’s Connect Ace Team volunteers led subject selection workshops for 44 YY3 S3 students.  Through interactive activities, students explored subject content, required skills, and personal fit, helping them make informed decisions.

STEM Workshop and Campus Visit

On 5 April 2025, 15 YY3 students visited HKUST for the STEM with Them workshop, participating in hands-on learning activities guided by HKUST undergraduates.
