CAN Design hosted two events for visual art students from its partner school The Hong Kong S.Y.C. & I.A. Chan Nam Chong Memorial College:  an industry sharing session on 3 April 2025 and a signage design workshop on 7 April.

At the school-based industry sharing session, two CAN Design volunteers introduced 17 S4-5 students to design training in tertiary education and the workplace, focusing on signage and multi-media design.  They discussed the differences between academic and commercial design work, and highlighted key professional skills needed in the industry.  Students showed particular interest in social media design applications.

Eight S5 students later participated in a workshop at CAN Design’s office, where they explored practical signage design through the company’s shopping mall project.  The workshop demonstrated how effective signage design balances functionality with aesthetic appeal, giving students hands-on experience and insights into the real-world design applications.
