As a WeCan Partner since 2015, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) has been supporting WeCan schools by engaging its students to conduct service-learning activities under the guidance of PolyU teaching staff.  In the second school term of 2024/25, two key initiatives were:

Bethel High School – National Education Booths

On 2 April 2025, 23 PolyU students hosted four interactive game booths during the school’s National Education Week, engaging S1-5 students to enhance their understanding of the Basic Law and the Hong Kong National Security Law.

Caritas Fanling Chan Chun Ha Secondary School – Presentation Workshops

From April to May 2025, PolyU students conducted three workshops for S3-4 students at the school.  These sessions focused on English self-introductions, using AI tools, and effective presentation skills, helping students improve English communication skills and build confidence in public speaking.
