On 22 May 2025, The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong organised a seminar on financial and career planning for Lok Sin Tong Wong Chung Ming Secondary School.  The event was attended by around 250 S2 and S4 students and delivered by the Institute’s delegation of experts, including Vice President Mr Ho Chi Wai Savio, and Council Members Ms Ng Suet Wing Elena, Dr Chang Sun Bun, Benson, and Dr Pun Ki Wai, David.

The seminar focused on two core themes: financial literacy and career planning.  Using real-world case studies, the speakers introduced fundamental financial concepts and guided students to reflect on how to develop sound saving and investment habits from a young age.  They also provided in-depth insights into career pathways in professional fields such as accounting and taxation, sharing industry trends and personal experiences that sparked strong interest among students in planning their future careers.

Throughout the session, students responded with enthusiasm and actively participated in the Q&A session.  The seminar not only broadened the students’ horizons but also planted the seed of financial planning.

Special thanks to The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong for its generous sharing and professional guidance, which proved immensely valuable to both students and teachers.
