Starting from the 2025/26 school year, Project WeCan has partnered with the Quality School Improvement Project (QSIP) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong to provide professional teaching support to participating schools.  The services encompass both school-based support and inter-school exchanges.  The first inter-school exchange event the “Schools Leadership Forum” was held on 17 October 2025 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.  Over 100 school leaders from participating schools attended to explore school management and leadership strategies, focusing on how to plan prudently, utilise resources effectively, and formulate forward-looking school development directions amidst frequent personnel changes in the education sector.

Mr Kwok Yam-shu, Oscar, PDSM, Head of the Civil Service College, was invited as the keynote speaker to share his in-depth analysis of the core elements of leadership.  He then engaged in a dialogue with Dr Tracy Wu, QSIP School Development Officer, to exchange insights on the practical application of educational leadership.  Dr Morton Chan, QSIP Director and Dr Flora Lui, QSIP School Development Officer, shared how to leverage cross-sectoral resources provided by the Project WeCan for school development, integrating QSIP’s school-based support to help schools address current challenges and promote continuous growth.

The Forum not only fostered in-depth exchanges among school leaders but also marked the beginning of professional collaboration for the new academic year, demonstrating the boundless potential of cross-sector collaboration in driving school progress.
