On 12 July, about 70 WeCan Partners and prospective partners gathered for the 2024 Project WeCan Partners’ Appreciation cum Sharing Session at the The Forum, a venue graciously provided by Standard Chartered Bank.  Mr Stephen Ng, Chairman of Project WeCan Foundation, opened the session by extending a warm welcome to all guests in attendance and expressing gratitude to our partners for dedicating their time and resources to create more learning opportunities for our students.

During the session, Mr Jonathan Muthana and Ms Daryl Poon from Standard Chartered Bank, Ms Berry Cheung from OCBC Bank, Ms Chi Zhang from KPMG, Mr Thomas Wong from CW CPA and Mr Ricky Wong from Wheelock Properties, who is also a Committee Member of Project WeCan Foundation, shared their experiences with fellow partners.  They highlighted the success stories and key learnings from their planning of volunteer programmes with their partner schools, as well as their contributions to our joint-school programmes.  Representatives from Lok Sin Tong Leung Kau Kui College and Po Leung Kuk Yao Ling Sun College also shared about how their students have benefitted from the volunteer programmes.

The participating partners engaged in a fruitful afternoon of exchanging ideas and experiences.  We look forward to their continued support in the new school year.
