Love Family Charity Limited (LFCL) regularly holds charity meal distribution activities to help elderly in various districts.  On 6 December 2024, around 30 students from Tin Shui Wai Methodist College participated in one of such activities as volunteers.  Students distributed meal packs and daily necessities to approximately 300 elderly people in Yuen Long.

After the activity, students participated in a debriefing session with Mr Danny Wong, the Founder of LFCL, where they shared reflections and insights.  Many expressed how rewarding it was to serve the community, reinforcing the importance of empathy and kindness.  Students learnt from the experience the value of cooperation and giving back to those in the community who are in need.

This activity not only provided material support, but also love and care to the elderly.  Students at the same time gained a sense of fulfilment from helping others and developed a deeper understanding of their social responsibility.
