On 3 July 2026, the Hong Kong Electrical Contractors' Association (HKECA) hosted an industry workshop for students of Buddhist Tai Kwong Chi Hong College, offering them valuable industry insights and a hands-on opportunity to assemble electrical circuits.  During the workshop, HKECA representatives introduced students to the electrical engineering field, detailing entry requirements, essential skills, career prospects, various job roles and progression pathways.  The session offered excellent guidance for students aspiring to join the profession, and highlighted that the industry is gender-inclusive, as qualities like meticulousness—often associated with female professionals—are highly valued in the field.  To top off the experience, all participating students successfully wired a two-way switch circuit.  This practical session allowed them to gain a deeper real-world understanding of the daily work in the industry.
