Shape Our Future: WeCan! – Career Exploration Day 2025/26 was held on 31 January 2026, benefitting around 5,000 secondary school students from 72 schools by helping them explore their career interests and discover potential career paths.
The programme brought together a wide range of industries, such as real estate, hospitality, technology, banking and professional services. Through a variety of career-related activities including job tasters, workshops, career interest games, and experiential booths, students gained hands-on experience across different career fields, learned essential workplace skills, and grasped the latest workplace requirements and trends.
We were honoured to welcome Mr Steven Ma, Chief Executive Officer of Metro Broadcast Corporation Limited, as our Officiating Guest at the Kick-off Ceremony. Mr Ma shared his inspiring personal story with students, encouraging them to pursue lifelong learning, strive for self-improvement and take every setback as a chance to reflect, adjust and grow.
The success of this event would not have been possible without the generous support of 51 organisations and WeCan partners from various industries. Their involvement provided students with valuable opportunities to participate in diverse career planning activities, enabling them to better understand their potential and interests, and laying a solid foundation for their future pathways.
