Project WeCan strives to broaden the horizons of our WeCan Scholars by engaging them in various activities.  To prepare scholars for their future career development, a career talk was conducted on 3 April for 50 scholars at Wheelock Gallery to provide them with opportunity to understand more about career planning and business writing skills.

Mr Kevin Hui, Committee Member of Project WeCan Foundation, kicked off the event with a welcome message, encouraging scholars to actively participate in activities provided by Project WeCan to foster their personal growth and career planning.  The welcome remarks were followed by two sessions of inspiring talks – Ms Amy Cho, Former Chief Executive Officer, Hong Kong, and Deputy Head, Asia Pacific of Schroders shared her journey in the world of finance with our scholars, emphasizing the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and seizing opportunities.  Ms Yeeling Wan, Lead Partner – Hong Kong, M.B. KEMP LLP provided valuable advice on how to excel in job interviews and the essentials of business writing skills.

A huge thank you to Ms Cho and Ms Wan for their enlightening sharing!  Our scholars left the session feeling motivated and equipped to plan for their own career paths with renewed vigor.
