We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Star Ferry for providing the opportunity for 52 students from seven WeCan schools to join the “Music Journey with Star Ferry” on 18 December 2023.

The students embarked on a memorable journey by boarding a specially arranged Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central.  During the ferry ride, students had a chance to hear the beautiful classical music played by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil), with narrations.  Upon arriving at the Central Star Ferry Pier, students were treated to a delightful community performance with a Christmas theme.  The HK Phil Trombone Quintet introduced and performed various musical pieces, deepening the students’ appreciation for orchestral music.

This collaboration between the HK Phil and Star Ferry provided the students with a unique opportunity to enjoy music and learn more about orchestral instruments.  It was an unforgettable and enriching experience.
