Three rounds of Shape Our Future: WeCan! – Project WeCan Career Exploration Day were held in 2022/23 school year, with around 7,000 students to explore their career interests and gain industry knowledge from WeCan partners across various industries, including banking, aviation, accounting, engineering, architecture, fashion and more.

It was our honour to have the Honourable Chris Sun Yuk-han, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare kicking-off the Career Exploration Day 2022/23 on 26 November 2022, accompanied by Mr Stephen Ng, Committee Chairman of the Project WeCan Foundation, Ms Helena To, President of Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association, Mr Choi Chi Leung, Principal of The Hong Kong Taoist Association Ching Chung Secondary School, President of the Parent-Teacher Association of HKSKH Bishop Hall Secondary School and a student representative.  At the kick-off ceremony, Mr Sun encouraged students to explore their career interests early in life, and take advantage of the many opportunities in Hong Kong.

Thanks to the generous support of WeCan partners and organisations from various industries, students from 82 WeCan schools were able to participate in diverse career planning activities designed to help them better understand and explore their career interests.
